Dr. Mehdi Oonchi

DDS, DMD

Dr. Oonchi is a General Dentist and Periodontology resident at UBC, with a passion for Implant surgery, Root canal therapy, surgical extractions, Orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.

Additionally, Dr. Oonchi has expertise in IV, oral and inhalation sedation, offering adults and children who have dental anxiety a pleasant experience.

Dr. Oonchi values the patient experience by providing careful, considerate treatment to all of his patients including children.

Dr. Mahsa Oonchi

DDS

Dr. Mahsa Oonchi received her Doctor of Dental Surgeon Degree (DDS) in 2009. She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry including, Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics (crowns and bridges and veneers), Endodontics, Children’s dentistry, Invisalign and Surgeries.

She is also certified to administer Botox. Dr. Mahsa is also great with kids and can provide them with Nitrous Oxide for a more comfortable experience. She is dedicated to the newest advancement in dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest technologies. Dr. Mahsa’s focus is on patient care and striving to help her patients remain comfortable while receiving professional treatment.

Dr. Dalia Taher

Orthodontist, MSc. Ortho

Dr. Taher is a certified specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (MSc. Ortho). Earning her Canadian board certification was a defining milestone as she completed the Dental Specialty Assessment and Training Program in Orthodontics at the esteemed Faculty of Dentistry, University of British Columbia.

This comprehensive training paved the way for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada FRCD (c) Ortho—an accolade that underscores her proficiency and dedication to advancing orthodontic excellence and patient-centered care.
